Doe Eye’d

If she was not smart enough,

She was not tall enough,

Or blonde enough or religious enough

Or too religious and not enough American.

They could run their mouth all day,

It did not matter. Russian or otherwise;

Gossiping in assumptions unilaterally

Until someone goes digging in locked closets.

Condemning the truth while worshiping idols;

With no reform, there is no God.

A contradiction to their own conviction

While misinterpreting their own versions

Of the purpose; of culture and tradition;

But see here miss, she is just a woman

Imposing her bright ideas like anyone was listening.

Really, it was rather cute;

All doe eye’d thinking she could save the world.
