Nebula Eyes

Just a nebula in the sky

Seen by so many eyes.

A fantasy that turned mythical

Like when we play pretend-

Children with imaginations

As colorful as rainbows.

Once on that cold day

He asked if I wanted to join a game-

Titling my head to the left

Running my thumb over my lip

Just to get him to stare

Cause I liked the attention

Knowing he had an attraction

To something that began

Beating inside- city boys;

Skate abs and high rails.

Addicted to the adrenaline;

What was in the bottle-

Tested traces that left elements

To the chemicals in the spectrum

Of life in color and eyes wide open.
